Cascada Verde Eco Lodge & Hostel - Uvita

Just a 5-minute walk from Uvitas beautiful waterfall, Cascada Verde Eco Lodge & Hostel offers stunning rainforest and ocean views.
The tropical treehouse style building features hammocks, plenty of comfy furniture and two large terraces.

Cascada Verde - Hostel at the Waterfall has spacious private rooms and shared dormitories with charming rustic-style décor. Each one offers free Wi-Fi and most of them have a garden view.

This family-run hostel has a large shared dining area and a fully equipped communal kitchen with free tea and coffee. You can spot wild monkeys and exotic birds in the gardens.

A local restaurant can be found within a 5-minute walk, while a supermarket, bus stop and tourist information office can be found in Uvita town, a 15 to 20-minute walk away.

You can drive to the Marino Ballena National Park and the famous Whale Tail Beach in around 10 minutes. Quepos Airport is 45 km away, and there are regular bus services between Uvita and San José.

The hotel day starts from hour 13:30 and ends at 11:00.

Please note that the reception is closed from 9pm until 8am. If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform the property in advance and please note that a payment will be required. Contact details can be found on your booking confirmation. Please check pictures and hostel descriptions carefully: Our hostel is located a 20 minutes walk from town, up a hill. Its made out of wood and the ceilings arent closed. That brings the best air circulation but allows bugs etc. to enter the rooms, bats included. We can not change our location or building and you will see how great it is here (by the way: geckos and bats eat mosquitos)... Important note for non refundable rates, group reservations and reservations of 4 nights or more: Please be aware that we will ask for a payment via PayPal in advance. Other payment methods are available but will have an additional fee. More than 4 guests count as a group and we request a security deposit. We can not host workers in shared accomodation, only in private rooms with private bathrooms. ENVISION festival: Please note that during festival times we can only accept prepaid reservations and have also a special cancellation policy - we will contact you about that in a personal message. Large Family Room. This very spacious and bright room is located right at our upper terrace and is overlooking the garden. It has a fan and plenty of storage shelves. The shared bathroom is on the same level. ;
Single Room with Garden View. Basic but very cute bamboo room, located right at the upper terrace deck, offering splendid garden views. Please note that this room is not suitable for very tall people. ;
Twin Room with Shared Bathroom. This twin room features rustic-style décor and wooden flooring. It includes free Wi-Fi, a fan and a hammock right outside the room. The shared bathroom is located on the same level. ;

Its very quiet because of its concrete walls and you still have access toshared facilities like communal kitchen and upper terraces. ;
Economy Triple Room with Shared Bathroom. This colorful triple room is very private, very fresh and has a beautiful big window with garden views. It is located in the basement, has concrete walls and its own sink right in front of the room. Access to the toilet and shower require the use of stairs. ;

Bed in 8-Bed Mixed Dormitory Room. This spacious cozy room has 4 bunk beds, a power outlet and a locker for each bed, with fans and mosquito nets and hammocks provided just outside the room. Its located in the basement of our second building. ;
Single Room with Balcony. This bright single room features a private balcony with wonderful jungle views, rustic decor, a fan, Wifi, and a mosquito net. Its located in the neighboring building, the shared bathroom is on the same level, and the shared kitchen is located in our main building just across the yard. ;
